I use camtasia to record then windows movie maker to edit and rapidshare to upload and they all work fine.

You most likely already have Windows Movie Maker on your computer, which is free.
A lot of the big people who make RS videos on YouTube use Sony Vegas 8.0 for editing.

I would use Windows Movie Maker until I decide what exactly want to be doing with the software.

Well I tried the autoscreen recorder...It's way better "anti-lagg" than hypercam. But it's still a little laggy.

i tryed using autoscreenrecorder 3.0 then edited with windos movie maker and then i tryed uploading it to youtube but for some reason its not letting me...help

I use Hypercam2 most of the time and edit in WMM. If it doesn't lag me much, I'll use Camtasia because the quality is way better. I use Filefront, for uploading, or just put stuff on Youtube.
