Firefox dropdown wont work

ok so i updated my firefox to the latest version finally, and now my drop down address bar wont work. i thought maybe the theme i was using wasnt compatible with the newest version, so i changed to the default theme and it still doesnt work

windows XP, and i fixed the problem. apparently somehow when i changed my theme it changed my history settings (ive changed the theme back to normal now) to where it wouldnt save any history, so the drop down wouldnt notice i had gone to any sites. Can lock this now
