I did a test movie with hypercam2 and I found it to be extremely laggy. Here's a link to the video http://rapidshare.de/files/48580459/clip0001.avi.html (Sorry it takes so long to watch. This is my first time wtih rapidshare) Is it because I was running runescape in HD? Or some other reason?

Thanks
Germanisland

Can you upload to Rapidshare.com, MegaUpload, YouTube, Vimeo, or similar site? People (including myself while on Chromium) keep getting porn redirects while trying to download.

Also, if you are laggy, it is likely due to an underpowered processor and/or video card.

I'm thought I did... It's probably my processor =P

Like Pfkninenines said, it's probably low CPU power.

Try running with settings that will require less power. That should fix the lag.

Right click your desktop > Hit the personalize/properties > Hit display options > Change color to 16 bit (Medium)

Try again?

You can lower the frame rate, but that results in a bad quality video

If you are willing to try Fraps? I found it produced much less lag than any other recorder

That's because he pirated it. We can't discuss how you'd go about that on the forums, as it is illegal.

Fraps has huge video files though, so he would have to either process them quick or limit his time recording.

It doesn't necessarily have large files, but if you leave it in the default of no compression, yes the files are huge. This saves cpu usage, but creates massive files even for short periods of time.
