Unregistered hypercam 2 causing lag

I recently downloaded Unregistered Hypercam 2 And when I try to record it causes huge lag in both Runescape and my entire browser making video recording nearly impossible. What should I do to fix this or is there any better recording program that won't cause lag.

If it's lagging, chances are your computer can't handle it. Hypercam usually doesn't cause very much lag at all since it's such a basic program, but if your computer specs aren't up to snuff, it will cause significant lag.

Post your computer specs, including processor, RAM, and video card, and hopefully we can determine if it's your computer or something else.

well i figured out how to not make it lag, I changed the color quality and the hardware acceleration. Thanks for the help, though.
