I eat cereal, usually two bowls with whole milk. The actual cereal varies because i like almost every cereal out there.

I've started cooking oatmeal for breakfast. I add fruit for flavor, usually frozen blueberries. Tastes great.

Check the sugar content of your cereal, anything 'honey/choc/etc' is going to be high in sugar. Even some of the so-called diet cereals are sugar laden. If you want to try something different try porage made with rolled oats, half milk & water and add a pinch of salt, the Scottish way :)

Egg is good, I'm sure I read somewhere that it takes more calories to digest an egg than it provides , but maybe not fried.

I have been losing weight slowly by just taking smaller portions of potatoes ( or main carb ingredient) and meat, and the will-power to only eat 1 small treat per day.

For me it's a grapefruit and a cup of coffee without sugar/creamer every morning.

I usually eat yogurt and a banana. If you want a bit more, go with some oatmeal or healthier cereal (just check the sugar content on the nutrition facts before you buy them). Since breakfast is one of the smaller meals of the day, I wouldn't worry about it as much and would worry about what you have for lunch/dinner more.
