What makes it worse is people on Youtube comparing him to Steven Tyler. This should be a crime.

Generally, I dislike anything that is mainstream. What people calls ''good'' is simply...I don't have a word.

I'll give most things a shot.

Theres just two types i don't care for;
Techno: Isn't music. Just noise.

Screamo: **** knows how any band gets fans when all they do is scream down the mic. It confuses me to this day what anyone gets out of it other than a headache. Talentless prats that just screech away annoying everyone.

I suspect screamo gets it's fans from kids thinking it's cool to like bands that aren't mainstream or popular enough to have hundreds of thousands of fans but theres a reason screamo isn't any of that and that's because it's awful. It's not because we "don't get it" or we only like what the radio feeds us or any other crazy ******* it's because it's bad. It's because It's equal to a screaming child kicking your seat on an airplane for 4 hours.

I may be biased but I think screamo is definitely music. The songs aren't just about a bloke yelling down a mic (which is actually harder than it looks) I find the drum beats are amazing to listen to, the guitar is often very intricate or heavy which I really enjoy too and the rhythms throughout songs are a big selling point. In addition, I'd say some of my favourite bands are screamo bands that also have clean vocals. It's just a matter of opinion I guess.

Also various other crunkcore/electrocore bands like Blood On The Dancefloor and Jeffree Star. But I don't dismiss whole genres.

None really. I don't consider majority of mainstream stuff music to begin with and not give it anymore of attention which is already receives.

The genre I dislike most probably will be country, but even so there are couple of good songs to be found there. Same goes with rap. Even so I mainly listen to classic rock I always found couple of songs and artists from different genres I enjoy listening to.

A pretty good alternative country band. Terrific song.

Rap and deathcore/death metal/related genres. Also any music where the person 'auto tunes' their voice. Get some real talent or GTFO.
Country is OK, but I can't stand patriotic/religious country. Barf.

modern rap, any popular stuff they play on Top 40 radio station nowadays (bieber, gaga, all those boy bands that sound the same, etc) and modern country, old country i can listen to, but that what my mom would always play in the car when i was younger

QFT bands like that make me wanna kill myself instantly.
