Far too many incidents have been brought to light of inexperienced wizards causing some pretty horrific accidents (and we use the word 'accident' very lightly).
So whether you're a mage of experience or you're someone in need of a little training, you'll want to travel north of the Duel Arena to find a grand building of magical design: The Mage Training Arena! In this building, the magical powers of RuneScape seem to have a mind of their own, so you'll find some very unique ways to practice the art of magic whilst collecting points to trade for prizes. Shazzam! There's a great deal on offer: you can have a go at moving statues around mazes with the power of your mind, or perhaps you'd like to try hunting for items to practice the art of alchemy. Or maybe you'd rather live dangerously and try your hand at frantically turning bones to bananas just to stay alive? It's your choice.

If you train long and hard enough, you could be the proud owner of some funky new robes! Trust us - wearing these, you will not go unnoticed as you strut your stuff around the dunes of Al Kharid. There's also the chance to look into upgradable wands and maybe even a new spell...

Intrigued? Why not take a visit and train to become a mage of irrefutable power...

...or at least put an end to those horrific accidents.

Your guide for the arena awaits you in the entrance hall.

Please note that the Xmas update has been removed today.

New update= ownage mgic training with low rc req runes(cosmics). You need lvl59 rc to craft cosmics x2. Cosmics are going for the same price as nature runes cuz the update gives sweet exp with cosmics. Nature runesx2 = lvl91 rc. LOL, Jagex owned lvl91 rcers.

Now u can just buy cosmics and a lava staff
go into the enchanting room
get shapes and use enchant onyx jewellery on them
u get 73 xp for the price of a cosmic rune

and u can alch the things the green arrow is pointing to without using nature runes in the alching room

8)

hmmm great update. love it.. but i think the robes cost way way way too much.. far to much.. will take months to get the set.

I think jagex should lower the price on the set alil, not a whole lot. or make points easier to get..

Im not saying i should be able to get it in 1 day, or 2 weeks.. but months.. thats just stupid.

I'm addicted to the Telekinesis Theatre. 8)

Here's my review of the rooms:

Enchanting Room: Okay place to get rid of those stupid Cosmics. And if you got 87 Magic, uber experience with the level-6 Enchantment.

Graveyard Room: Turning bones into bananas? Not really alot of fun. They should have made this a target practice area for attack spells...

Alchemy Room: Alchemy'ing's always fun. 8)

Telekinesis Room: OMG hours of enjoyment! Too bad there's not alot of mazes. I really liked this part.

And as far as the new robes, I don't really like it, it's extremely overpriced and you'll only see the rich and wealthy have it for the first week. But I'm trying to get that wand now. I wanna try it out.

This deserves a 4/5.

it's kinda nice but i think it uses up runes a bit fast. prices of mud staff is probably going to shoot up cuz of this, it's kinda fun... this is the only place where you are happy to get leather boots lol. i wish we wouldn't have to use so much runes though.

Cosmics doubleing in price? Mabye I will get some good profit if I decided not to train mage right now. :)

Robes are way too pricy though. I agree they should be lowered a bit.

Cosmics more than doubled in price. I used to buy at 40 each (easily) for when I'd make battlestaffs.

I see them going for 200-300 now.

Huge difference.

Great update, 5/5.

One of the best updates I've seen in the past few months.

The robes, - yes, very over priced, total enchantment pizzaz needed is around 35-40K, not to mention the others, but the quantities of those needed are significantly smaller.. I've got about 200 atm..

The wand - unless they are better than the slayer staff, I doubt they will be worth getting. They dont really loo that nice either. Problem with these though, is you need to upgrade your wand, meaning you cant just buy the master one straight away.

Runes - This seems like a very good place to buy runes. I havent yet bought any, but it does seem as though you wont need much to get 100 bloods.

New spell - Havent seen this used yet, it seems like a waste though. Peaches wont heal much, Jagex are too stingy to do that. It would be fine if you were a low level. But if you have 60 magic and the willpower to get all the pizazz needed, I doubt you'll be needing peaches for food.

Overall, I must say, it's keeping me in the game for a while. Was thinking of quitting to be honest (3 days of member left). I'll be topping up tomorrow.

4/5 - The prices are a bit high.

its my favorite update.. "EVER" and i love the mazes. :) so much more fun than alching.. Graveyard is annoying..

already i have 350 alch points, 1300 enchant points,

100+ graveyard and tele points..

but i have a question? how in the world does lvl 6 enchant have anything to do with the enchantment section? i dont see no onyx gems anywhere

It's just a place where you can use your high level enchantments without having to enchant the jewelry. I can't cast onyx enchant but I can use dragonstone charge and I don't even need the jewel. The higher the enchantment, the more experience you get per item.

yea it's a nice addition that's making use of all the under used spells, and runes, in the game. tho they could make the points either easier to get or the point prices a bit lower it'll take a good week before we even see full sets for sale in forums, if they're even tradeable.

 now just wait for the complaints to start rollinginto the official forums about the stats of the robe set either wether they're better or worse than ahrims.
