Thurgo stumbled and fell down a hole he had never seen before... and awoke a terrifying creature of bone and ice. At first glance he thought them to be dragons... but when he tried an anti-dragon shield and narrowly escaped with major frostbite, he knew that they were not.
These Wyverns will give a chilly reception to any who dare enter the cave, so you’d best equip yourself with some elemental protection.

Just before Thurgo left the dank cave, he caught a familiar glint out of his eye... the glint of rock. Yes, rock does glint to a dwarf... especially granite.

Well, thats confused me.

It seems to be quite a good update, pity I cannot get on until later, but I'll look forward to killing these Wyverns, and the new champions of the races? Is this a random event?

Seems to be Much, Much better than last week anyway.

i heard on several other forums the new Granite Item is Granite Legs, Legs made of rock.. right, should weigh a ton and make it hard to run away from a snail, probably got a plus 200 range def bonus or something..

Knowing what other granite items are... it'll just be rune, only with a hyped up ranged bonus. Can anyone get a pic of the new item when and if they get one?

I'll go after this later, I like to kill Slayer monsters for rares anywho.

And yeah, probably just another hyped up ranged defence bonus, but who cares, it's another piece of granite. I would have to expect they would release a full granite set later in the future. So I'm happy, granite is my fav.

sounds like fun, the champions minigame is sorta like a random event, when u so many monsters of one type if there is a champion for that monster type it'll challenge you to a match under the guild, other than that u can't do much in there still.
edit: there are 6 monster races shown watching the arena they are human, dwarf, elf, gnome, tzhaar, and werewolf dunno if these are the only types that will fight or what yet tho.

granite legs(?) yea probly a lil more helpful vs some of the newer monsters with ranged attacks tho will probly cost a good mill or so for a few weeks.

The new slayer monsters drop Granite platlegs , the best def for range , * Bye rangers

They are pretty hard to kill i heard , elemental shield needed to kill , if you dont use the shield they hit 40+

Wish you good luck with killing them

granite legs have a plus 68 range bonus :shock:

if they bring out any more granite armour, bye bye rangers.

Problem is, Rangers dont harm warriors that much anyway, things like that for lower levels are just going to make warriors invincable to arrows.

I'm not complaining though, but I reckon the rangers will

Skeletal Wyverns are level 140

You also need 72 slayer to kill them.
