A new village has been discovered in the desert: the village of Nardah, which lies south-east of Pollnivneach. It can be reached by magic carpet from Pollnivneach, and has several useful features: the first desert bank south of the Shantay Pass, a herbalist called Zahur who will identify herbs for 200 coins each (which should be handy for people wishing to trade high-level herbs), and a choc-ice seller (who also sells some chocolate bars). Choc-ices heal health and also stop you from dehydrating as quickly in the desert, though they will sometimes melt in the heat.

Nardah also has a general store, an armourer, a set of anvils and the start of a new quest...

Spirits of the Elid

The people in the desert village of Nardah have a problem: their town well has dried up, and any water they try to bring back to the town from the river mysteriously disappears before they can get it back. The villagers suspect they have been cursed in some way. Can you unravel what is going on and save the village? If you do, you may find out some more about the gods and history of the desert people, and unlock one or two more features in Nardah.

In other news, little green leprechauns have appeared near the farming patches throughout the world. They'll look after some of your farming tools so you won't have to carry so many items when you visit the patches, storing the equipment in their magic shed. Items handed to one leprechaun may be retrieved from any other leprechaun. The leprechauns will look after one rake, seed dibber, spade, gardening trowel, watering can and secateurs as well as storing lots of empty buckets, compost and supercompost.

Sounds ok. Farming update wont be much of a change since farming isnt exactly the favourite skill. Desert quest - I really am bored of these, its winter.. nearly x-mas.. why something based in the middle of the desert?

Looks like an average one to me. Hooray for Leprechauns, thats probly a valuable update for the people that farm. The quest, ok yay for that too everyone likes another quest. However, I kind of deem this update almost useless. For one thing, who farms? For another, the quest is probly bone easy and has a useless reward.
