30 November 2005 - 8 new worlds in Miami

The "Choose best world for me feature" should include the new Miami servers when making its choice, so players in the Florida area should get a better connection to them.

Its great and all thatwe get new worlds but seriously, are Jagex that blind? We pay for thegame yet we get less worlds. In what world is that logical? Oh well..yet another mistake Jagex, bravo. At least we got 3 worlds though..better than nothing.

I'm assuming it's because members are outnumbered by an astronomical amount of free players. While it's true F2Pers do nothing to support the game (save for the advertisements that generate revenue), overpopulation for either sides would be a thing to avoid.

Meh. That's the thing. p2p is just as populer as f2p now. We're packed in like sardines and all stuffed into the same training spots cause any update jagex comes out with now is useless and no one uses.

I think its a good update but it would of been nice to split the servers 4 and 4. Even with these new servers it is still going to be a bit crowded on members.

Good that they added some more though. I was just talking about it with someone about a day ago.

I dont really see the point. Jagex can keep adding worlds but even adding 8 more will mean that the average player population in a world drops by just over 100.

The game needs to be made bigger, not the number of worlds.
