Quest Name: The Candifra Vynsince Feud
An elven druid village has been plagued by attacks from humans from a village called Vynsince. Help the village stop the evil humans from attacking.
Difficulty level: Medium-Hard (Requirements are hard)
Requirements: 55 Herblore. 65 Attack. Must have done Regicide Quest, 5 uncut diamonds, 2 uncut rubies, 150 steel nails, 10 planks, prayer potion, hammer.
Depending on which path you take, you will want 250k (either path).
Elves side: 3 uncooked sharks, 2 vials. Lost City Quest, Dragon Long (will not need to lose it)
Humans side: Rune Hally, 25k extra. 2 ropes.
Length: Extremely long (traveling isnt that bad though)
Starting Location: Elven boatman.
You start by talking to an elven boatman.
Boatman: Hey you! Come talk to me! I have come out here every day for the past 60 years, and you are the first person I have seen for a long long time!
You: Where can you ferry me to?
Boatman: Well I can take you to my druids village, Candifra. It would normally cost 5 gold, but because you are the first person I have seen in a while I must charge you a prayer potion as there are no altars nearby. And I cannot trust your potion unless you have a good knowledge of the herbs. (Only takes you to village if you have 55 herblore)
He takes you to the village. From now on he will take you whenever you talk to him.
Villager sees you: Hey boatman, you know you aren't supposed to take humans into the village! Only elves are allowed!
Boatman: He is a human? My eyesite is so poor he looked like an elf! Besides he does have good herblore!
Villager: Well it is just as well that you arrived, <name>. Tyrwin asked to see the next person to come to town.
Tyrwin AKA village elder: Human, it has been long since someone with good intentions came to town. You must help us stop attacks from another village, Vynsince. They have been attacking ever since they heard of our secret potions. Please help us stop their attacks!
You (if you agree): How may I help put off their attacks?
Tyrwin: First we need a path to their village so that we can fight them off. This brige requires 150 steel nails and 10 wooden planks. It will also require some valuable gems, 5 uncut diamonds and 2 uncut rubies. The bridge requires crushed gems so that only one group may pass over. This requires the essence of the people who should be able to pass over the bridge. In our case, this is obviously a potion. But build the bridge first, and then come back to me.
Now go down to the west bank of the elf village (its an island) and find a "pointy ledge". You click on it and say "This would be the perfect place for a bridge". Place a plank down and all the planks will be placed. Use your hammer or nails on the "unstable bridge" the bridge will become a normal bridge.
Go back to the village and go to the herb store. Go upstairs and you will find a gem crusher. Use all the gems with the gem crusher to get (stacked item) diamond dust and (stacked item) ruby dust.
SPLIT PLOT!
Elf Side: Go back to Tyrwin. He will tell you you need to make two potions that are made with special ingredients, the teeth of sharks, soldiers hair from the other village, and a mercury bone. Fill the vials at the fountain of the village square. Next go to the village chef and ask him to remove the teeth on the shark. He will demand that you give him a shark for himself to cook for the village. Then he will give you shark teeth and some teethless sharks which can be cooked like normal.
Next cross the bridge and kill the soldiers in the other village until you get a lock of hair. Next go to the castle and use a dragon long to kill the dragon armored castle bouncer (you will not hit him without a dragon long. FOOD IS RECOMMENDED.) Then talk to the castle lord and he will tell you that he will not risk fighting you and will give you what you want, a mercury bone cut from a Xenor dog in the castle dungeon. Return to the druid village and Tyrwin will show you how to make a lure potion (when drank, all NPCs will try to attack you) and a mercury poison potion (poisons 2X as often as normal posion potion and hits deal 6 damage instead of 4. You use these potions with the gem dust and use the potioned gem dust on the bridge.
Talk to Tyrwin to collect your reward, two mercury potions, 4 lure potions, the ability to buy a druids mercury scepter 250k, ability to use mercury potions on your weapons to be able to attack level 200 Xenor dogs in the castle dungeon of the other village, and the ability to make lure potions (level 40) and your own mercury poison potions (level 55). Always be sure to have a few more mercury pots left so that you can fight Xenor dogs to get more mercury bones. Should you run out, you can pay 10k to buy mercury bones from Tyrwin.
Human Side: Go to the castle in the village attacking the elfs and talk to the king in the castle. He will convince you to help fight the elfs. He says that he needs you to take his demond dog, the Xenor dog, and feed it the gems (which it happily eats). Once it trusts you, you use the ropes on it. It will growl at you. You talk to the king and he remembers that one time he was quite the mage, and to capture the dog he had to have a scepter of obedience. He asks if you have such a scepter and when you say no, he says (if you have your rune hally with you) well this rune halber will do. He says that for 25k he will enchant it to make the dog totally obedient. You do so and you drag the dog out to the bridge. Once it crosses the bridge you go talk to the lord at the castle who gives you your reward: Option to attack elf druids, option to buy Xenor dog 250k (Xenor dog is similiar to multi cannon, it attacks all npcs, but is weaker).
Rewards either way: 5000 Herblore Experience, 15000 attack experience.
Also: I realize that if you purchase a level 200 demon dog it should have a bigger attack then a multi cannon, but I suppose we can attribute that to homesickness or something. :p
