Weird thing with me and monsters

Its odd that a mugger or a dark wizard wont attack me,even if im 1 foot away from them.
But newer lvl 3's that you see with a wooden sheild and bronze sword usually always gets attacked,its very weird.
I think its because of my total level that monsters dont attack me,could i be wrong?

if you stay there long enough the monsters leave u along maybe u stay at the tree 2 much =D

but not sure cus even when a lvl 5 walks past draynor willows he usally get attacked

you must be 1337

hey i think your right...cause usualy when i first arrive i get attacked,but like 3 loads of willow later or iron i like blend in with the higher levels..or..yeh i might just be leet *updates sig*

ive been checking..and except for a few places, if you are double a monsters level..they leave you be...dont quote me on this though

/\ That can't be true. Jagex stated in the official forums a long time ago that monsters aren't all that dumb. If they see you killing their kind over and over again, or if they get bored of you the don't attack.

i dont kill monsters and im not double their lvl..

its cuz ur around in the same area a lot. I know that they alwaya attack people new to the area. Like when you go into the wildy, lessers and gds and stuff like that almost always attack you, but that is because you are moving. If you are iron mining, and there are hobs all around, for the first while, they will attack, but then they will stop after a while

Once your double the lvl of a monster it "WILL NOT" attack you, unless jagex has coded it to where it will anyway.. For example, when i was lvl 95, chaos dwarf's taverly dungeon attacked me as i walked by, if i stayed there for awhile, they would stop attacking. once i hit 96 combat, they stopped attacking and never attacked unless i attacked them.. its just the way it is..

the only conclusion is that you were in the area for awhile at one point, went somewhere else, or stayed there, came back and they wouldnt attack because you had been there recently.. On my noob account, at first they would attack, but after awhile they would stop, i would bank for 5mins, come back, and still wouldnt attack, that was me being lvl 10.

Once you have been in an area being attacked for a few minutes, they will stop auto-attacking you. This is to prevent AFK'ers from training unlimitedly

this happens to me too...when i go to the hobgoblin mines in wildy the hobs attack me continuously for about 2 trips then by the thrid one they dont come near me..even if i walk through them they dont attack me. i think it might be something to do with being in the same place alot in a certain period of time..i dunno but it is strange. also the thing about being double a monsters level is true as well but that doesnt really apply to you since ur lvl 3 lol
