Tip It VS RuneHQ

I don't mean to start ANY flame with this thread, I don't care who likes which more. I just need to know which is ACTUALLY accurate drop wise. I've been fighting mossies for about 4-5 days now. It doesn't seem like much but in that time I have killed WELL OVER 7000 Moss Giants.

Tip It states that the ones I am fighting are capable of dropping Rune Spears and Drag Spears (I've seen rune javelins only)

While RuneHQ states they drop half shields. (Seen half keys)

Has ANYONE ever gotten a half shield, rune spear (not javelin), or Dragon spear from a moss giant?

again not trying to start a flame war but rune hq and tip it are as bad as each other, they both are bad, rune hq has good guides though, but thats about it.

and i have never got a rune spear from a moss giant.

Runehq rules are way to strict, they wont even let you post a link to google or bablefish...

Tipit is too crowded and there are scammers...

So i choose rsbandb, im not trying to start a flame war but thats just my opinion...

Again, I just want to know if ANYONE has ever gotten those drops from a mossie before. Cause it's not like it matters, I train on mossies. Not looking for drops. But wishing for something to drop that isn't SUPPOSED to drop is a bit pointless and irritating :evil:

. Personally, I by far prefer the community on RSBand over any other RS-type forum. I haven't been cussed out once yet and I have pushed my luck intentionally. (e.g. threatning to pwn mods as a joke ;o) XD

Well, personally i find tip.it is better than runehq, but sometimes i like coming to rsbandb to see whats happening over here.

Well, the Moss Giants drop Gems. Any monster that is capable of dropping Gems can also Drop Dragon Halfs. As for the Rune and Dragon Spears, I believe this is totally made up.

I Like rune hq over tip, because its less crowded and the quest guides are the best. Plus its got moster db and a person db incase you are looking for someone and also an item db. Though rsbandb has got the absolute best cal's i've ever used, so I only use them now they are pretty right on the dot of being correct. Anything that drops gems and half keys drops dragon left halfs, though i dont know about rune spear or dragon one. Plus its totaly by random. I've killed over 1000 iron dragons and have only gotten one dragon drop.

almost all the stuff rsbandb has is from runehq so i use runehq....i'm not trying to say that tip it is not any good but i prefer runehq

a friend of mine got a rune spear from a moss giant, an unreliable friend walked up to me one day with a dragon spear and claimed to get it from a moss giant.

I never have gotten any rune or dragon from all the mossies I have fought in my time but you should consider that they are rare drops. Even though you killed 7k of em I would if expected a rune or drag spear but the half shield is very rare. I have a friend who trained from 79 to 103 or something like that before he got a half shield.

Btw, rsbandb all the way, the others are kinda inaccurate and are full of hackers.

rsbandb is full a respectful people. and the occassional trouble maker.

Runehq is the same, although i have never been to their forums and never will. Runehq is quickly updated and have the best quest guides around with accurate information and picture.. Very very little lag and also very little adware on the website.

Tip.it, i think the only good thing is there treasure trail coord finder. Thats it.. I hate everything else about tip.it.. its so laggy full of adware that unfortunately 1 night did install 20 or so programs to my computer, including pornography dialing programs and filled my favorites folder with all types of links.. this came from one of their ad banners. Their forums have alot of restrictions in many ways. Alot of flaming and stuff like that.

no about moss giants. I have never really got much from them besides half keys, and nat tallys etc. Fire giants however do drop d spears, and i did get a rune spear from a fire giant. I believe moss giants do drop rune spear, and dragon spear im not so sure about.

overall, we dont officially know. Overall, rsbandb is a very fast, basically ad-free, fun and enjoyable experience with the best and most accurate calculators.
