Alright, I need some inspiration on what to do with the background I've made thus far. I spent a really long time on it and I don't want it to go to waste, but I'm honestly stuck. What do you see in it?

Oh, I should probably note that if it looks a little blurry to you, it's because it's hideously scaled down from its original size.

As it appears to be underwater I'd suggest an old lonely guy (with gills on the side of his neck or face) sitting there on a stone or chair of some sort playing chess by himself. Maybe have one of his arms set on the table and his face/chin set on his hand so he looks a little lonely and depressed. It was just an idea that quickly came to my mind.

I like what Jaden suggested, although you could instead do skeletons or something. Make it appear as if it was one above water, but was washed under a flood. Maybe put some broken down pine trees in the back or something with some coral or something on them.

And when you say background, do you mean in the sea beyond the balcony? If so, a wrecked ship would work well with the undead pirate theme. With sharks. Oh and put lots of barnacles and seaweed n stuff on the balcony.

I say do an alice in wonderland feel with it, I mean they are making the upcoming movie by Tim Burton. Maybe find a character like the MadHatter vs Queen of Hearts? Then of course for the background just do crazy ****
