Tips on Pyrefriends

Well Thats my assignment.
They are hitting really hard on me even though I have full rune.
Just look at my defense, I need to eat a lobster every kill
Any tips on helping me kill? Thanks.

if u think it's a waste of lob, replace it then

wear drag d hide armor, i wore full black d hide armor, archer helm, mage boots, god cape, glory, sara pray book and u can use whatever weapon you want.. This boosted my magic def alot, and they didnt really hit me much, when i wear full drag, i get hit 90% of the time..

Well, your range is high enough for Blue Dragonhide (at least according to your signature), and all dragonhide armor offers magic defence. Since Blue Dragons are so common and easy to get, plus you don't need as high a crafting level as black dragonhide, you should be able to find a set of blue dragonhide very cheap. I mean..you've bought full mystic. You should have enough money for dragonhide. Unless you spent all your money on the item so you have none left over.

Also, for a good defense against these, the Bearhead (Mountain Daughter quest) has the higest magic def (for a helm) in the game.

Almost all slayer monsters look to use melee attacks, but magic defense seems to work better for most.

Yep, I find this effective on most slayer monsters. If I wear my magic defence armors and fight Jellies, I rarely get hit, so I stay there for ages.

How do you change assigment? You talk to another master?

Actually whoever said they use magical attacks is untrue, because protect from melee prayer works, but its ironic that magic defense is better.
