Yaa just a summary off the top of my head for those that didn't catch it;

-Splinter cell conviction set for 2009 and it looks awesome
-Alan wake set for 2010 (christ I don't even care anymore)
-Final Fantasy set for 2010
-Forza 3 out 2009
-Sky deal allowing UK residents to watch Live tv, have access to all it's movies and tv shows.
-Metal Gear Rising coming to X360 Raiden will be the main character this time not Snake. No game footage tho so it's probably sometime off.
-Halo Reach coming 2010, anyone who's read the books will know what this is set around. Just a CGI trailer looks like your playing as a Spartan again though, if i remember right there was a number of them on Reach.
-Halo: ODST is having a Reach beta included in it. Also showed some gameplay footage..looks like standard stuff, showed off some new guns and a new visor.
- There gunna let you watch movies/tv with your friends.
- Facebook and twitter coming to the X360 with features designed specificly for the 360.

And that's it from what i remember apart from one more thing that i think was the biggest announcement;

Project Natal

I think most people knew motion sensing was coming but uh..i didn't expect it to be as it is. Before you go into a moan over ZOMG COPYING DA WII OZOFLJ i really suggest you watch the demonstration and watch the stuff with lionhead. o.0 IF what there showing is real..and IF they can get studios to bring it into games and not just gimmicky casual crap this is set to surpass the wii.

It can scan objects, it showed some guy scanning his skateboard and it showed up in game. Then he started doing tricks and things without the board just performing the usual movements you'd make while skateboarding. It recognizes voices and it senses full body movements, from head to toe. Some guy even made a painting using nothing but his hand movements.

It seems like a very advanced eyetoy. But the best thing was what lionhead showed..which is where i get skeptical because it seems to good to be true. A woman held a conversation with a video game character...he responded to EVERYTHING she said, he knew who she was, he can supposedly sense what sort of mood your in by your facial expressions too.

Not only that but she interacted with him too..she drew a picture on a bit of paper, gave it to him (they scanned it really but he reached out to get it, as if she was passing it to him) and he seemed to know what it was. XD Then she went fishing, bizzarely you could see her reflection in the water though and it all reacted to her movements.

Very exciting stuff actually, far beyond any motion sensing tech I've seen on a console..I just hope it's used properly and not for just silly quiz games or mini games.

Update:

Videos so far:

Forza 3 debut trailer;
http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/media/ ... ault.htm#/video/120/

Forza 3 new video editor thingymawig showing off stunts n stuff;
http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/media/ ... ault.htm#/video/114/

And the Halo ODST gameplay;
http://www.bungie.net/projects/odst/default.aspx
Also featuring a 4 player co-op mode like Horde but including vehicles and you can play as Sgt Johnson so that's guarenteed to be awesome.

---------------------------
Nintendo:
- New super mario Bro's wii - 2D, looks like it belongs on the DS. Doubt it'll be a very long game. Bleh. With 4 player co-op that hopefully works like it should online.

Wii sports resort..surprisingly looks like wii sports. Showed off the new wii+ remote thing and how accuracte the controls are. No more waggglee. It's actually very cool and would be awesome if it picks off but i can't see many developers using it cause the mass majority probably wont bother buying it.

Final Fantasy the cristal thingymawot announced AND kingdom hearts announced.

New Mario RPG for the DS

Golden Sun DS **** IT should of made a wii version. :( I need a new DS now.

Mario VS Donkey kong for the DS including a level editor that you can technically share with anyone, personally my old DS never was able to get a stable connection.

Warioware letting you create your own games that you can again technically share with people.

wii vitality sensor...oh my **** god. Die. They claim it'll help you achieve greater relaxation. In other words it's in your head and your an idiot if you buy it. So naturally it's going to sell 100million billion copies.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 announced, with yoshi woo. No release date though..doubt very much it'll be out this year.

Metroid: other M woah i did not see that coming. o.0 New metroid being made by team Ninja (they made Ninja gaiden) and it looks very very cool. Doesn't look like the metroid prime games..seems far more action based.

Gotta hand it to them that's a very good line up. They can shuve the sensor up there *** but other than that very good stuff. o.0

-------------------

Sony:
Great start, nothing but sales reports. **** off. Just a bunch of spinning bad news into good news n crap.

Showed off uncharted 2, looks very pretty. Very scripted too.

MAG - still has a stupid name. Seems like a fiarly run of the mill multiplayer shooter tbh, nothing special accept for the 200+ players in one game..which doesn't make a good game IMO Very organized for the video but you're not about to find 200 friends willing to play at the same time and co-operate, it'll be a mess IMO

More sales talk. :roll: Why do the guys that are coming dead last insist on going on about sales.

- Announced the worst kept secret of E3 (there words) or PSP go. Not a successor to the PSP 3000 though just yet another new version of it. No disc drive either 100% DLC only. No idea what the price is in pounds because Sony don't believe England exists.

- Video service available on the PSP through the store.

- GT PSP announced. 800 cars, 35 tracks. Expect it sometime in 2025.

- Metal Gear solid: Peacewalker for the PSP ten yers after MGS3, story seems to be the same confusing ******* as ever.

- resident evil coming to PSP + little big planet and omg Hannah montana

- 50,ps1 titles coming to the store, FF7 being put on today.

- Exclusive game from Rockstar called "Agent" what is with the **** names? Set in the 1970s, no info, trailer or screens..long way off.

- **** creed 2, hopefully not as repetitive as the last one. New character looks freaking awesome though. You can fly now too. 30 different weapons. 6 extra if you play the PSP version. Smoke bombs and he can swim at last, thank god. No idea how tho with all that clothing.

- wtf? Final Fantasy 14 coming 2010 exclusive to the PS3. How the hell can that be when FF13 is coming out 2010? o.0 wtf lol Oh seems to be a MMOG with the traditional title. Meh, not *really* the 14th FF rpg if that's the case.

- Showing off a wii remote like thing. Seems very similar. Actually went into FPS mode and was able to move about the room and shoot ****. Seems it'd work well with more traditional games. All depends on dev support tho as usual. Does seem far superior to the wii remote tho. Even seems better than Microsofts showing in some ways, doesn't seem to have voice recognition or any of those fancy features. **** that bow and arrow thing makes Nintendos archery in wii sports look like crap.

Seems like this motion sensing lark is finally starting to come through for all 3 and not just be an excuse to sell mini games for 40 quid.

- Mod nation racing exclusive to the PS3. Looks awesome, design your own chracter, karts and tracks and share them all. Mario kart meets little big plant with unlimited options. Designing levels looks really simple and easy. Lmao you can even add in sheep.

- The last guardian announced.

- GT5 trailer, STILL no release date. Lol joke.
- GOW3 gameplay lookin sexy

Pretty good too, most of there games are out 2010 like Microsofts. Pity.

Also,

Crackdown 2
XBLA game from Epic that plays exactly the same as the old Metroid games
Xbox live Avatar racing game that looked like Trackmania

And I actually lol'd at the Lionhead presentation of your "own personal interactive imaginary friend". Way to give hope to all the lonely people out there (They're not leaving their houses ever again).

Oops. How can i forget crackdown 2. Greatest sandbox game this gen. Also forgot to meantion left4dead 2..which to me seems far to early considering how little content and support the original has got.

News still actually coming in;

http://kotaku.com/5274406/microsoft-off ... mand-starting-august

There bringing in video game rentals without the stupid **** ******* point system WOO. Oh and there bringing music services for free apparently. Tho i doubt it will be free.

Project Natal seems really cool, I hope one of my friends will get it since I don't have an Xbox360. Since Microsoft still sees a lot of life in the 360 I think I'll try to get one for my birthday this summer, that way I can also be involved in the rsbandb events.

They did announce Last.fm coming to Xbox Live though, with no additional charges for gold members.

Natal could set Microsoft apart from Sony and Nintendo by a HUGE margin IF it actually works as they claim it to. I can't imagine that the Milo character would really react to anything I say or do which is probably why they are only showing it behind closed doors.

I just hope they use this tech. for things better than talking with some little kid and helping him fish or whatever. That whole demo sort of felt like Blues Clues or something. Hopefully this Project Natal is as legit as they are making it sound. Although, it was Peter Molyneux and that man is filled with unfufilled promises and ****.

I lol'd at "That whole demo sort of felt like Blues Clues or something."

I was on MSN at the same time as Slimppu, so he linked me to the show and we watched it while commenting on stuff.

That dude who had pigtails on his avatar ... That just made me facepalm. That Milo thing was pretty cool, I was thinking the same things as Dragon. We would have to just help him do whatever he has to do, and then when it's getting late he'd be like "Hey mate, it's dark outside. Let's go get a cuppa tea and watch an episode of Monty Python (or whatever Brits watch) on the telly and afterward let's go to bed."

EA presentation just finished, nothing interesting tbh apart from the new BioWare Star Wars MMO. They showed no gameplay but they did show a trailer that was insanely epic.

Trailer for Halo: Reach

Nintendos presentation is up next, if they've got anything worth talking about this year I'll add it to this topic.

If the updates between Forza 2 and 3 are anything like they were between the original and Forza 2, then I will definitely be getting that. The Community at Play video is incredibly impressive too.

Also, I was looking at Splinter Cell a couple of days ago wishing they'd bring out a new good one, and saw on tintyweb that they were planning Conviction for sometime this year. Apparently Fisher is back to the company he was with in the original, and there's some sort of power struggle at the top, so he goes renegade again. I'm not sure about the story, but if it's anything like the original it'll be well worth a buy.

From the trailer i saw yesterday hes taking down the company he worked for originally. Someones killed his daughter and hes gone all rouge killing everyone related to it. Course trailers can be misleading though. Reminded me a lot of the Bourne films though.

No new Wii Zelda from Nintendo. They have officially lost.

Just a bunch of casual crap, three or four new Mario games, Metroid and Resident Evil. Sure it's pretty good in a way but I WANTED ZELDA DAMMIT :(

EDIT: Oh the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games looked exciting though.

I dunno why people get hyped for Zelda..I genuinly think the console version needs a rework or just..changing. It's same old same old for the most part.

Metroid made there show for me, that looked awesome. Sonys is up in a few hours, lets see if they have any shockers or if it's just going to be boring announced crap.

Tbh in my opinion console Zeldas don't need anything else than new story and new dungeons, but the next one would also have potential with MotionPlus.

Just imagine swinging your sword around the way you want it to, and then using your bow the way you do in the next Wii Sports game.

Anyhow out of the new MotionPlus titles, Red Steel 2 looked the best despite its flop on the first game, Ubisoft showed a live demo on it yesterday and it actually looked pretty good.
