Is Runescape the center of getting seriously owned?

I imagine it has to do with the fact that in Runescape before wilderness removal, 'owning' someone used to be a very great task because you would end up with their valuable armor/weapons.

People get 'owned' in WoW all the time (the whole game is based around combat). But no one loses any items when they die, and getting 'ganked' is quite common.

firt off every 1 has there own opinion on what is and isnt anoob or what is and isnt being owned so ok yes some times it may b suitable

there are so many rs vids on you tube because every body wants fame in my opinion what better what than to make loads of vids

just a coincidence probably... a lot of games used the term "owned"

I believe that the reason owned is used so frequently is because of the typical attitude which pkers had. This is because most people used pures and always tended to be of the more arrogant attitude while using their pure.

As the wild was overrun with pures it only makes sense that all the videos involving owned are from Runescape because it is a word typically used by them.
