Yeah uh so whenever i try to load up firefox it'll open go to load google and crash on me. Every single time.

I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the newest version and all that stuff but it just crashes everytime i try to open it. Right now i'm stuck using IE and i don't want to get opera cause i don't like it, so i'd like a fix if possible.

Any help?

I had that when I used it. I think it's caused by a corruption in the settings.

If you don't have too many important bookmarks and cookies, delete the whole of the folder C:/Documents and Settings/your username/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox - note that this will delete all your bookmarks, cookies, extensions, everything. You'll basically have to start afresh. Yeah, it's annoying, I know. I did have to do this once.

If you're not really happy with deleting everything, you could backup that folder before deleting it, it may be possible to restore some of the things in the future.

There is no application data folder in that area. o.0

Firefox isn't restricted to just my area, it's across all our areas if that helps.

Try opening FireFox in safe mode with no addons if that doesn't work you could try using an older version.

There is. It's hidden. Go tools -> folder options -> Advanced tab -> and select view hidden files and folders.
