Almost all of the top countries have a history of instability, why is America right up there?
It could just be the media, but I never hear of massacres outside of America.
Alright, but look at the list.
#8. America, population of 301,529,000
#21. Germany, population of 82,310,000
#26. Australia, population of 20,804,00
#28 Spain, population of 44,708,964
#30 New Zealand, population of 4,165,600
So population is a big determining factor in gun violence, with the exception of countries in civil war. America has many more citizens, meaning more gun violence. If Germany, Australia, or any other country had the sheer population that America has, they would have just as many.
Once again just to insist on the point that it isn't the country, it's a small percentage of people that affect the way others view the country.

My only comment on the whole American and guns argument is; you guys want to carry guns, yet you don't want to face the consequences of incidents like this. That are obviously related to your love for guns.
Whoever said we don't want to face the consequences?

Edit: It was just reported on the British news that somebody in some prominent gun organization in America said if every student carried a gun this would never have happened. That pretty much defines retarded. They think it's a good idea for every student at university to carry a firearm? Morons.
Agreed. That man is an idiot. Having 30,000 college students all carrying firearms around campus wouldn't end well.
