Why is there a 'No Forfeit' option?

If they forfeit they lose, so why have the option to turn it off?

You can run away from battle. You can escape from the arena. There's very little honor in that actually. If you choose for the option "no forfeit" then the duel is over when the other is dead.

So you can have bragging rights? "I totally pwned player-x!" People rather say that more than, "I hit a five on player-x and he got bored and ran away!" If I were staking I would rather someone forfit earlier so I get their stuff faster than having to kill them. :P

Don't see why someone would want to forfeit if they were staking tho' sounds kinda stupid to me, unless they didn't care if they lost the staked items. Might be to stop people wasting other peoples time by just going in and then running away?

The no forfeit button means that they cant leave the arena as they are going to lose.

If they forfeit they loose anyway tho'. Just allows them to say "you only won because I left" and stuff like that

Theres also the fact that there can be a tie, the smite prayer allows for that I believe. It also allows for the ever so slim chance that the loseing person can manage a comeback. Ive seen that happen before.

Do you lose if you escape from the duel? I thought the duel was just over...
