Ok I am a non-member sadly and this has been one of my main goals... I only have 63 cooking( I know i'm a long way away from 99 ). Do you think I should just fish from karajma and make fires and cook there and sell them in the general store - my fishing is 62 :? or buy them from other players? - I only have 100k (gave most of it to my friend when I quit playing for like 6 months) . If I should buy how do you reccomend to make money? If I merchant what should I use?

Dunno what you should merchant. You must buy them cause if you fish them its would takes you ages. Anyway buy like 1k lobster when you got like 250k, cook them and sell them back to buy another 1k raw. Do this until 99 cooking.

Getting 99 in any skill takes a whole lot more effort on f2p then it does on p2p. If you are serious about it, it would be best go get p2p. You will have access to more buyers/sellers, gear that gives you cooking bonuses, and also faster cooking places. There is infact a spot there the bank is within 1 square of a fire that never burns out. I see people cooking there all the time.

Also, if you were to get p2p to stick with this goal, around 85 or 90 cooking you would want to change to sharks for faster xp. Though there is a slight chance of burning them, I have heard many people say doing it all on lobbies is slower then doing it on sharks.

Yeah, but if you want to switch to sharks and NOT burn them, do Family Crest and take Cooking Gauntlets. At 94 + Gauntlets, you never-burn sharks. I think it's at 74 or 75 + Gautnlets for never-burn lobsters :p

Happy cooking! I have that goal too

I'm not sure if it changed or not with the change from RuneScape classic to RS2, but in RuneScape classic I stopped burning lobsters at 65 using the gauntlets, and 75 without.
