Dragon Vs. Barrows

I just wanted to know what you think is better. Most people tell me that barrows is an obvious winner between the two. Then why is dragon chain so highly priced when you can just buy yourself one of the three melee types of barrow armour? I was gonna plan on getting some dragon stuff but now Im having second thoughts on getting it, if its just better to get to 70 def and buy the barrows. What do you guys prefer or use? I think that dragon is also just kind of a thing to show off not really use for combat. In conclusion I would guess that barrows is better but that the only downside to barrows is that you have to pay, what is it? 500k after 15 hours of usage?. Well give me your input

all of it depends on stats if you got high att (abought 70 att and strght use dragon) other use barrows a full set hits 51

Dragon is barely better than rune. For the price of a d chain you can get almost all the melee sets of barrow armour there is. So yea, dragon is just show-off material. If you have 60 def, buy a whip first, get to 70 def, and then buy barrows.

Barrows...sure you need to repair it but if you got the cash to buy it you should be able to get the cash to repair it...not to mention torags is almsot 2x stronger than dragon.

Well, as said before, dragon is pretty much for show off. It is better then rune, but not that much better. Barrows needing 70 defense is one minus to people because they don't want to get 70 defense or attack or strength or range ect... It is better to go with barrows though, but only if you get the full set. This is so you can use its bonus.

You don't always need the full set...for rangers, just buy the x-bow for the range bonus. for mages just buy the robes...guthans, veracs, and dharoks should always be full and torag for the armor boost.

Barrows is alot better than dragon.

The Special Effects if you have a full set and the defense bonus it gives

Dragon armor has better looks than anything else in the game to me and barrows has just the best armor all around.

Barrows is better- and its 300k per 15 hours of combat.
