buy iron and coal, smith into steelbars. Most cash-efficient way. For fastest XP, buy steel bars and smith into desired objects.

hint: put that picture into your signature

I would probobally say if you already have the bars and everything to smith than go to al karid and there is a furnace right next to the bank

I use falador quite a bit, nip into the mines, dump into the bank then there's a furnace pretty nearby. Then I store the bars until I'm near varrock where the anvil's directly opposite the bank.

Hmm... Maybe at an anvil or a furnace?

Actually, you should mine iron and coal (or buy) and make platebodies. Once you are a member, do Family Crest, and get the crafting gloves, and smelt gold ores.

Why get a 99 quickly when you can enjoy the skill for a longer time and make a lot of money in the process?

The best place for smelting is probably Port Phastmatys. He is a member in case you guys haven't noticed. Wear your ghostspeak amulet so that you can bank faster. If you don't feel like doing Ghosts Ahoy or even just getting two Ectotokens, Falador, Al Kharid and Ardougne are all about equal.

The best places for forging are Varrock and Yanille.
