Well everyone, without the gear you see me wearing... you won't get remotely close to reaching Jad. He must be ranged, and then you must attack the level 108 healers that come to assist him. If you attack each of them once, they will ignore Jad and you can just kill him dead. The healers don't do enough damage to kill you very quickly, KEEP WATCHING his attack clues all the time and you will succeed.

aaah its all dangerous... i've got up to the 360 once, then it 3 hitted me, 14, 13, 31, one was not amused. still, got 992 tokkul for it

You get a little over 8000 Tokkul for just getting to Jad, or defeating him. After that, for defeating Jad, the Tokkul reward is increased by whatever it was. From 8k to 16k to 32k to 64k... most likely capping off at 100k.
