Pures vs Impures!

When I think about "Pure", all I really think about is, "Lol, my Combat is lower than it should be, and I can kick higher peoples asses!"

Then I go, "But you're level 20 combat.."
Them: "So!? I could still kill you, n00b."
Me: "Sure you can, all level 20's come up to me saying that."

I think that a nice, well rounded account is the way to go. That way you can hopefully survive in more dangerous situations. For example:

*Walking through wildy in full rune*
n00b pker1: lololol n00b stfu kill da n00b lolol11lolo1lolo11lol!
Other n00b pkers: lolo1lolo1lo!l1lo1lolo1lo1
*switches to full dragonhide and bow*
n00b pker 1: Oh **** u man stfu loll1lol1ol1ol1lololol1 run n00bs lo1lo1ll1olo1 stfu!!!!!

Roughly translated from the noobish:

*Walking through wildy in full rune*
n00b pker1: lol kill that noob fellow mages!
Other n00b pkers: lol
*switches to full dragonhide and bow*
n00b pker 1: Oh no! run fellow mages!

Or something along those lines......

Unless you get a bonus from not training other skills, i see no reason to even go as a pure... :lol:

Now they suck. All of them. Except skill pures maybe.

The game has too many pures nowadays, that's making them become less and less "owning"

im a pure, and i used to play a well rounded account with gd stats, now playing my pure i think pures are alot better,

considerin at one point i was lvl 54 combat and i kiled a lvl 84 in full rune and a d long, i think thats ownage, he had 71 atk and 72 str and 61 or something def, frm that i say pures usually win, alot of peeps alot higher then me seem to run away frm me........ $\:D/$

awesome i am getting lots of feedback

well to me if this would happen... and 6\10 times it does. ur around the greater demons and u see 3-5 people. ur lvl 85 combat and there all lvl 60 u think u can kill them all easly as ur a pure str and atk. as u get closer u find out that there all impures have 50 atk str and def but 60 range and 60 mage. u get closer and they switch to mage and or range. u get hit constaly by fire blast or god spells. u run but in the end u got killed. this has happened to many people before

so a well balanced impure would own pretty much.

id say a well balanced impure. in my opinion with higher defence you can wipe out anyone. if you had an impure with balanced combat skills but a slightly higer defence you could own pures because quite often they have lower combat lvls. so what if they have 60 mage? you could pick them off cos youd outlast them with your defence. meh thats my opinion anyway

Very true, my lvl 24 pure ranger (45 range) used to be on his own. Now pures are everywhere....

nope i still think impures own...Even if i do have a few pures i use for some "fun" pking. Heres another lil prolbem u can get urself into. Mage arena bank

ur a pure mage lvl 85 mage lvl 65 combat. Ur only other combat skill ur good at is 20 defence and ur 50 or so hitpoints. U got teleblock and Sara\guthix\zammy spells *ur choice on spell*. u meet a pure ranger with 80 range 60 combat that has done dragon slayer. U team a few wandering noobs but a wll blanced impure of lvl 75 comes with 70 defence 60 atk and str with 70 range and 75 magic. U think he is going to die because he is all alone and he's only 5-10 lvls higher then u. But... he swtiches to his black d hide and pots up. Kills the mage while he hits low on him due to high defence. Ranger hits decent 10-15's on him. But mage dies because the impure ranger had a good enough defence and range. Then he switches to dragon hide\rune and kills the ranger with a melee weapon of his choice. He won because of his good defence lvl and atleast 60-70 hitpoints. This has happened before.

awesome! well heres something for u who think pures own which they do sometimes... u meet a lvl 80 impure with 80 range, 70 magic, 65 atk and str with only 50 dfence. U are the same lvl with 85 magic and 60 hitpoints with 70 range. u entangle,teleblock the impure. and u unleash god spells or if u want wave spells. he switches to his range but its too late u got ur bow out and u spec him with ur bow and hit a 22-21 on him. Basic factor. if ur an impure with low defence like 50 or so pures will stomp all over juu! This is happened to me Personaly just not with those exact stats.
