i will tell you my incredible story and please try to believe in it...
some days ago i tryed to log in after more than 3 months of not playing runescape because of the trip from Holland to my native land- Ukraine.
i had a message that my account has been disabled so i went to check what happened and as i tried to log in to my account management i was shocked to see that somebody has changed my password! Although i had recovery so i changed password, and i logged in...i saw that i have been banned for braking rule about advertising websites!i have been hacked and banned at the same time!i can not belive it.By the way i tried to contact runescape staff- i sent them a message on saturday the 27th of august, it's monday today and i had no reply since then.i almost lost my hope. is there anybody on this world who thinks i still have a chance??????
 :( :!:
sincerely m riggs

You can argue that it wasn't you who did it, but after being away for 3 months it's going to be a little harder. Send a ban appeal saying what you wrote here. Then it's up to Jagex :?

Often it takes more then a few days for them to respnd. Think about how many people play the game and a lot of messages that they do not need that are sent in. Sometimes you have to wait up to a week.

If you didnt know your password then how did you sned them a message? Anyway, if this is true, then they can just look at the I.P adress of the person who last logged in, see its not yours and you may get unbanned.

King.

Jagex doesn't work weekends, so your message wouldn't have been read.

hi
it's me again
this is what they wrote to me:

From: Jagex
Subject: Re: Your Recent Support Query
Date: 03 Sep 2005 17:36
Delete

Hi M Riggs,

Thank you for taking the time to contact Jagex.

At Jagex we always aim to respond to every message we receive from our players individually and as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, due to the massive growth in popularity of Runescape and the increasing number of queries that brings, we have not been able to keep up, and are not able to offer a personal response this time. We are increasing the size of our customer support unit and hopefully the next time you need help you will be able to get a quick answer!

We always give priority to answering all member queries personally, but we are now aiming to answer more free player queries. This number will increase even more in the coming weeks.

Why not consider becoming a member and help support the continued development of the game? Plus you'll also get a range of extra features and benefits like four extra bank pages, exclusive quests and you get no adverts that can sometimes put you off your game.
As a Member you also get access to the Forums which can usually answer any query you have allowing you more time to play the game.

RuneScape.com holds a mass of information on RuneScape and quite often you will find the answer you are looking for here, whether it be technical, billing or game related - one of the FAQ's is bound to help.

If you have tried this and still cannot find an answer to your query, please resubmit it again and we will try to give a personal response.

Once again, many thanks for your query, and apologies that we cannot give a personal response at this time.

Sincerely,
RuneScape Customer Support...
It looks like i have to complain again!

Do not send a Support Query. Send a Ban Appeal.

Hi M Riggs,

I am sorry to say that your ban appeal has not been successful.

This decision is *final* and any further ban appeals will not be considered.

Sincerely,
RuneScape Customer Support

Keep sending in Ban Appeals and Support Queries. Explain thoroughly what happened. Ask them to check IP logs, see that the hacker was from a different host.
