Devil may cry 5

I loved DMC4. I want to love DMC5. BUT;

Hate Dantes new look. Hes gone from a stylish looking badass to an emo kid.
Hate the art style. Reminds me of SF4. Worked well in SF4 doesn't work in this.
Have no idea why capcom gave one of there best selling franchises to a developer that spent **** years developing an underwhelming 5 hour game.

Do not hold out much hope. But i want it to be good.

Also no Nero.

I'm one of the few that LIKED him. Well i liked the demon hand.

Despite I have all the others game from 1 to 4, I don't think I will buy the 5th.
The first one was truly epic. It was one of the greatest PS2 game ever. The second and the third were average but the third was somewhat better than the second one. And the fourth simply didn't catch my attention. When I bought it, it took me 11 months to try it. I played it for less than 40 minutes to realize I was no longer into that kind of game. Maybe I should retry it again, someday.

I highly doubt they'll ever make a DMC better than the first.

Ive been through dmc 1-3. didn't get 4 because i spend way too much time in runescape as it is (don't want to give even more of my life away to another game)

I loved the story line. Anything demonic stories interests me so this one is no different (even though im christian)

but i do agree. the art is just yuck. Shoulda stuck with the old style.

Hideki Kamiya, creator of the Devil May Cry series, doesn’t seem too fond of Ninja Theory’s new take on protagonist Dante.

In a series of tweets where fans ask him his thoughts on the new younger Dante, he responds the following:

“I miss him, too… RT @nss_13_ @PG_kamiya I miss the Dante you made,” read the first tweet.

“I’ve been sad since Dante left me. RT @nss_13_ @PG_kamiya It’s sad to see what you started turn this way,” read another.

The last tweet read: “Whatever. RT @Solivagant @PG_kamiya #DmC, by Ninja Theory? Do you think they will “evolve” the action game from your Bayonetta standard?”

I guess we’ll see how it all turns out in 2011.

What worrys me the most is them **** with the formula. Which they've already said there "tweaking". :roll:

I get the feeling combat rating wont even be in it..which is idiotic. I want my SSS. I want my deep combat system with split second timing on moves. I WANT THAT. I don't want an emo and a **** god of war button masher.

On the flip side Ninja gaiden 3 is also in the making.

Rumors of it being a reboot. Again: **** stupid if it is. Certainly is a younger Dante.

Capcom is **** reboot happy and they need to knock it off. FINISH THE SODDING STORY FIRST. You can't just leave it as Nero and Dante part ways and live happily ever after. The dude has a bloody demon hand he doesn't get to live happily ever after. Never going to happen to the guy.
