I'm making scenarios for Age of Empires II, using Map Editor in game. I'm making a project here: a campaign! It's consisted off of few scenarios. It will be some HARD work, but I belive I can make it. Now, I need some help from you. I need a storyline for it. When I'll make it, I'll try to find a way to upload it on the internet and share it with you.

I don't quite know. Maybe a story of a tribe, from the beggining to an end? I haven't got alot of ideas, but I'm thinking all the time. If anyone has experience with triggers and AI when making this kind of stuff, he can post here. I figured out everything, but triggers and some other stuff.

Whatever you do make a trigger to have a large enemy army appear once the player uses a cheat (to deter cheating).

Good idea!
I've been playing with triggers a little bit more today. But I can't find a trigger, with option of destroying the other tribe. I've searched trough internet and found a book; Scenario Designers Toolkit, designed by Microsoft Esamble Studios (those are the ones that made Age of Empires II). It's about how to make your own scenarios and how to set triggers and stuff... It's 20$, and about 20€. I think I should buy it. I'm really interested in this. H

I may use the fact, that Celts lived on our hill, Slivnica (pronounced Sli-vni-ca (c as c)). But there weren't any tribes around them or anything, they just lived there. I should probably just make up a story of a tribe. The fall of Gothovia?

Gothovia, the Gothic city. You are attacked by 4 tribes, on each side of the city. They try to defend, but the defense is in no use. They have to flee the city. Now, this is where you start to play. First you would have to escape the city with the king. Scenario would end. The next one: you would have to build a city and defeat all of the enemies that attacked you, to get your city back. You would need to create an army of Huskarls and battering rams. When you would defeated all of them, you would get your city back. The trick here would be, to help one of the tribes, so you could ally together and that would mean, one enemy less to kill. Once you would get your city back, you would start to conquer the other tribes too. You would continue to raid trough the world. On the first conquest, your army would be caught in ambush and you would only be left with a king and some villagers, along with some wood, food, gold and stone (500 of each). You would have to build a city, as fast a possible, to defend yourself from the other tribes.

This is just my thinking of how I should do it. If you have any other ideas, please post them, I'll try to make a scenario for it as soon as possible.

Sorry for double post, but I have some good news. My first scenario is almost complete! It'll be somewhat like a trial and you'll be the first to test it. I just need to ask you one thing. Where should I upload the scenario?

I'm gonna say try RapidShare. They're usually good and my friend uses them all the time, not sure if you have to pay. I'll get the game out and download the scenario when you're done.

Next time, just edit your last post ;)
