http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-hd-total-war/712092i got boned in 3 turns

i was trying to figure out who was my ally or enemies. i thought enemy troops was coming from the north, so i went to intercept. until i realized that they were friendly nation. my real enemy came from the south and ended me right then and there.

so gameplay. gameplay is a lot different. it's like rome but weirder. you have your basic infantry, archers and calvary.
ninjas serve as spies and assassins, another unit called something (can't remember the name) can help to manage your provinces and make bribes with counter spying.
and monks which interestingly enough, these buddhist monks besides doing religious zeal can start revolts in other clans. it's basically (your government sucks rise up in the name of buddha!"
it's okay but almost every time i take over an area, automatically everybody doesn't like me cuz my clan is larger. which is annoying when doing trades.
to make people better manage their provinces a new food system is here. you can have so much farm land at any one time, if you upgrade your castles more than the amount of farm land you have, people will begin to start and can revolt.
while playing the actual battle, the downside is everything seems tiny. it is very hard to see what units are where, what they are, who are they attacking etc.
i kept finding myself pausing the game to see what unit i selected because i honestly cannot tell. they have a unit banner but it's almost invisible when you have a very large army and trying to manage everything.
arrows honestly run out really really fast which can be a little bit of a problem during a siege.
navy i feel now is more about boarding than empire. yes you can still rain fire arrows on the enemy ships, but it empahsis either having a lot of archer ships raining arrows at a distance, which the ocean size is very small so very hard to run around.
i'm not having any of the problems i had with empire during launch. the massive lags, crashes etc. but i just feel like another month in development with a beta to have player feedback would have helped a lot.
