Precision is key when playing first person shooter video games. Using a console controller to play first person shooter games may have not been a good idea years ago, but today playing FPS games on a console is not only popular, but precise enough to get you those headshots. Or is it?

PC gamers will tell you, that the real best precision comes from a keyboard and mouse. So, how about a PlayStation 3 using a keyboard and mouse for all its first person shooter games? Up till recently, this was not possible on all FPS games on the PS3; Unreal tournament 3 being the only game to support a keyboard and mouse while some of the best shooters on the PS3, such as; Killzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 only support the standard PS3 controllers. But that has just changed!

I hope sony steps in and blocks this. It presents unfair advantages to other players. It's about as bad as using a modded controller.

Theres a reason Microsoft stopped there cross platform games at shadowrun it's because they had to nerf the PC gamers so much to make it fair for the console ones.

As i said..they can. In one or two games. But they've stopped making it a feature in games because it involved gimping either the 360 players or the PC ones. Which is why Sony should step in and stop this.

well many people say they do better with a controller than with a mouse and keyboard. let them put their money where they mouths are

Yes but then theres the poor sods like me that KNOW a mouse and keyboard user can be better. I know if your used to that set up you get more accuracy.
