I'm going to be buying this but i really doubt I'll get into the multiplayer all that much. Which sucks because i kinda want to get into it..but I've never been able to get into RTS Multi since AOE2. Seems all RTS players now just want to rush you as fast as possible and end the game as fast as possible and I just..suck *** at defending against that.

I'm a total turtle and like to sit in my base and build up a big army and then crush the other team and it worked pretty well in AOE2 but I've never found a game that works as good since. I think this ones going to be the same. XD Still will pick it up cause the campaign is going to be good.

edit; XD That was **** epic though. It's just a pity i could never really get a game like that going..well we'll see but i doubt I'll be able to figure out all the little stats and tech trees and **** that come with these things to much to take in and remember. :P

Definitely. AOE 2 is my favorite RTS to play the standard mode on because the games aren't over in like 15 minutes.

Agreed. The whole point of Blizzard RTS games (Warcraft and Starcraft) is to play the custom games that are created by the players. The actual gameplay blows for multiplayer.

I just wish they would release the **** game already. We've been waiting for Starcraft II since at least 2000.

Spoiler for Nietszche Quote:

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols
