Anyone else Hyped for Diablo 3?!

Diablo 3 is set to come out maybe around x-mas time anyone else eagerly awaiting release? If you don't know what diablo is it is a rpg game series made by blizzard (makers of WOW & starcraft) Diablo II is widely considered one the best rpgs of all time even at 10 years of age is still played by thousands and a new patch is being released for it soon.

Eh i avoid getting excited for blizzard games. Mostly because how long they take to make. I'll certainly buy it when it comes out though.

No, because new Blizzard games will be released about in the same time as Duke Nukem Forever.
They always find a stupid reason to delay the game.

You know, these "stupid reasons" actually improve the game.
Blizzard may have the "it's released when it's released" policy on games, but when they do come out people will play them for 10+ years. Look at how popular Starcraft is in Korea, Diablo 2 is still going strong, and WoW has over 10 million subscribers after 6 or so years. The re-playability and addictiveness will certainly out-weigh the insanely long waits. Because from my experience these waits are always better than the rushed-release ******* that has become a trend over the past few years. *cough*Call of Duty*cough*Guitar Hero*cough*

Oh, and back on topic. Yes, I am excited. But I am not really wetting my pants in anticipation, as I can just play what I got for now until they polish it up and release the new games.

Blizzard has a motto, they release games when theyre ready. Hell if it takes an extra month or 2 for the A+ quality of games they release then I'll gladly wait. And I wish for every game company would do what blizzard does.

Seeing as we aren't allowed to compare this game to COD anymore... I guess I'm pretty hyped but I think it will be pushed back a few times. I've played the other two in the series and it's awesome. Can't wait.

You're allowed to compare Diablo 3 to COD, you just can't be nitpicking about the differences between Cod4 and WaW :wink:

Personally, it will be interesting to see if it lives up to what they did to Diablo 1 and 2.
