Why are there other songs from other bands?

I thought the whole point of these spin offs was to base it completely around one band..I never could understand why they didn't just release it as DLC anyway but i guess it's an excuse to charge another £40.

Idk, I guess only metallica song would get incredibly annoying at a certain point. By the way, those artist are the one who gave inspiration to metallica, So I guess this is more like a 'Thank you' to them.

The other artists are bands that inspired Metallica, were inspired by Metallica, or played with them at some point in time.

If you read that, you can see as to why they would prefer not to make it an expansion. It really warrants being a full game,

Yeah, I'm going to have to buy/rent that. Not THAT big of a fan of metallica but they are alright. I'll definitely have to check it out. They other artists look pretty good too.

I'm a big Metallica fan, but I'm most likely not going to pick this game up. Rock Band 2's all the plastic guitar crushing I need for right now.

Good track list, though.
