Making money with steel bars and cannon balls

MAKING MONEY WITH STEEL BARS

Requirements:
30 smithing, or 35 for cannon balls.
Dwarf multicannon (for cannon ball mould)

To Start with, its good if you have about 200K, so you can really get started.

Right, so, now you've got about 200K, you'll be wanting to know how to get even more money.

Well, Steel bars/cannon balls are a really good way of making money. If you're wondering 'how?' Well its really simple actually.

STEP 1:
(This is if you start with 200K)
Buy 1000 coal at a FIXED price of 175gp. You can do it for less, but not a gp over.

STEP 2:
Buy 500 iron at a FIXED price of 50gp. As with before, if you can buy for less, excellent, do so. But not a gp over 50.

STEP 3:
Go to your favourite smelting point. If you’re a member and have done ghosts ahoy, then use the smelter at port phasmatys. But if not, defiantly Al-kharid.

From here, there are two options. If you don’t have 35 smithing, haven’t done the dwarf multicannon quest, and are a non-member, you cannot do cannon balls, and will have to make just steel bars. But if you do have ALL those requirements, you can make cannonballs!

STEP 4:
Right, if your making cannonballs, first, you’ll need a cannon ball mould:

Right, your inventory should lokk something like this…

But, if your not making cannon balls, you’re inventory will be the same, but just not with the mould.

STEP 5
SMELT SMELT SMELT!

Smelt all of you iron and coal into steel bars or cannonballs.

STEP 6
Sell your products.
Steel bars: Sell for 600gp ea, or higher if you can find it.
Cannonballs: Sell for 200 ea. This may not seem like alot, but as you get 4 for every steel bar, you making more!

You do know it is a ton faster, even though it doesn't seem it, but it is a ton faster to smith all the steel bars, then make them into cannonballs. Click get 10 iron then all coal, put back 1 iron and then go smith. You will have the perfect about everytime.

nobody sells iron for 50 each! the lowest i could find is 100 each. i tryed everywhere but not a soul sells it for 50 each. where do you buy your iron from?

Well, you can buy it for 100 ea, if you can buy the coal for 150 ea...
