items needed, none everything is provided but if you wish to speed it up, bring tinderbox and rope. armor for some lvl 57 pirates will attack you.
talk to Bill Teach in Port Phasmatys Inn. Same place where you find robin hood. he will say that an enemy ship is waiting for him out at see. he'll ask you to join him and be part of his crew. after talking to him in th bar, head to his ship in the water.
2. A cut scene will occur and his enemy will blast 3 holes into your ship. he wants you to swing over to the other side and blow up their cannons. Do accomplish this search one of the boxes for a fuse and a rope, head to the back of the ship and you'll find a tinderbox. Head up and climb a rope net and use the rope on the sails and you'll swing over. when you're over use the fuse on the powder right next to the cannon. After a short animation, light the fuse and the cannon will blow. there is a rope spawn close by if you do not have one and again climb up the mast and swing back to your ship.
3. Your captain wants you to plug up the holes. head back down and grab about 6 repair planks, 30 tacks and 3 swamp tar. use the planks on the hole and then the swamp. when you're done grab another rope.
4. after plugging the holes he wants swing over and steal some loot. swing back over to the enemy ship and head down below. In the back is a chest, a crate, and a barrel. He wants you to grab 10 plunders. If you do not have 10 wait about a minute for more to spawn again. when you have swing back and store them in your own chest.
5. now the captain wants you to sink their ship, head back down and grab a new cannon barrel. use it with the broken cannon and then talk to your captain again. he wants you to fire a canister shot on the enemy ship. here's how
6. head back down and get a ramrod, a fuse, and a canister. head back up and grab some powder next to the cannon.
*note if you do not follow these procedures the cannon will blow and you'll receive damage and the cannon could break.*
6.1 Use the ramrod with the cannon to clean it.
6.2 Put the powder into the cannon and ram it in.
6.3 Insert the canister shot and ram it down.
6.4 use the fuse and fire away.
6.5 you should see a pirate getting seriously hurt and then head back to the captain.
7. after firing the canister he wants you to sink their ship. Head back down and get 3 cannonballs, 3 fuses, and then come back up and grab 3 powder. do the same procedure as before: clean it, ram the powder, ram the ball, use the fuse and fire.
8. after 3 sucessful shots the captain will say that you have sunk their ship. he will now take you to a new island full of pirates. enjoy the area.
island notes: you must always have that book with you in order to talk with pirates or trade with them. for some reason there is a language barrier... after the quest head south and get back on the ship and talk to the captain to get your money.
