Ernest The Chicken
Veronica is very worried. Her fiance went into the big spooky manor house to ask for directions. An hour later and he's still not out yet.
Requirements: None.
Items Needed: None.
NPCs: Veronica, Professor Oddenstein, Ernest.
Difficulty: Easy.
Length: Short (approx. 15 minutes).
Reward: 4 quest points and 300 coins.
Start Point: Gates of Draynor Manor, speak to Veronica.
This is a map of Draynor Mansion. If you get stuck at any time during the quest, you can refer back to this to see where you should be going.
- To start the quest, speak to Veronica, south of Draynor Manor, which is north of Draynor Village. When you ask her what's wrong, she will tell you that her fiance, Ernest, has gone missing. Sounds like a quest, huh?! This looks like a job for YOU!
- Head north and go through the giant doors to enter the mansion - the door will lock behind you, but don't worry; you can still get out through the back door if need be.
- Make your way up two flights of stairs to the second floor.
- Here you will see, in a room, Professor Oddenstein. Walk over and talk to him, and you will find that Ernest has been accidentally turned into a chicken. Poor guy. You will need to retreive three items to make Professor Oddenstein's machine work so Ernest can be changed back into a human.
An Oil Can, a Pressure Guage and a Rubber Tube.
- Go downstairs (to the first floor, not the ground floor) and grab the fish food being guarded by a ghost. As long as you don't disturb it however, it won't be inclined to attack you.
- Head downstairs again (now to the ground floor) and find the poison (see the mini-map on the image below).
Now poison the fish food - use the Poison with the Fish Food.
- Find the far east room and collect a spade, then head out the back door...
- ... and right around to the compost heap. To get there, walk north until you are stopped by the fence, walk west until you are stopped by the fence, and then walk south until you find it.
When you get there, use your spade with the compost heap and you'll find a key for use later on.
- Continue walking south and you'll find an underworldly looking fountain. If you search the fountain you will find that it conceals the pressure guage that you need, but it is also home to a fair few vicious piranhas.
Use your poisoned fish food with the fountain and (surprisingly) it will kill all of the pesky piranhas. 
Search the fountain again and you'll get the pressure guage. One down, two to go!
- Head back into the mansion by means of the front door (the way you first came in) and go into the little room behind the stairs (the key you found in the compost heap will open the door). Avoid the skeleton as you grab the rubber tube and run out before it can hit you. No need to worry, it's fairly weak and never hit me. Once you've done that, you'll have the rubber tube and the pressure guage which means there's only one to go...
- Make your way to the far west room (search the bookcases which will part for you to get in) and climb down the ladder to the basement.
- Walk around inside for a bit and look for where the levers are - notice how they are named "Lever A", "Lever B", etc. You need to pull the levers in this order to retreive the oil can: A, B, D, A, B, F, E, C, E.
You will know when you can go through a door when it is partially open, like below:
So when you've done all that, the oil can is ready for you in the southern room.
- Off we go back to the second floor! Climb up the stairs of the basement, and pull the lever on the wall to go through. From there take the two flights of stairs upward, like at the beginning.
Talk to Professor Oddenstein and he will magically transform Ernest to his former being.
- Now, being the greedy person you are... Congratulations! You've completed the Ernest The Chicken quest.
