The Complete Guide to Agility
By Agent Waffles

I realise there are still bits missing but to be honest, compared to most of the other guides here, this kicks ***.
So don't complain that I haven't added leveling strategies, I will get around to it as soon as i can be bothered.

ImageBrief OverviewImage

Once you become a member, Agility is probably one of the most dissapointing skills avaliable. So much could have been incorporated into skill like Thieving, Hunter, Melee etc. However not all is lost, as once high, you will be able to keep going without the aid of Milo. There are currently 10 different ways to train agility, ranging from fetching sticks to leaping past ancient traps. Agility is a risky skill and so most of the courses will involve you getting hurt, which means you will need food. Most people will start out with the gnomes, they will make comparisions between you and your grandmother, favouring her.

Image

So pretty much all agility is used for is to jump past obstacles and regain energy quicker than others.

There are also a small numbers concotions and flora to restore your energy.

Agility Courses

ImageGnome Stronghold (+1)Image

This is the easiest of the Agility courses, you cannot hurt yourself, and there are only 6 obstacles. It is located in the eastern section of the Gnome Stronghold. Pretty much everyone starts here, or playing Gnome Ball, which is fairly slow and frustrating.

ImagePenguin Iceberg (+30)Image

Once you have got to a certain stage in Cold War you will be able to access the Iceberg course to use at your discretion, unfortunately it is no where near to a bank and the exp doesn't rival that of the higher courses. You need to be disguised as a penguin to use this course so if you have completed Cold War you will need to make another Penguin from the workshop in your house. Or someone elses.

Bring a buddy because you will not only be bored, but frozen.

ImageAgility Pyramid (+30)Image

And god said, let there be hurt and he put the hurt into a pyramid. North east of Sophanem is the biggest waste of time since snelms. But since this guide wouldn't be complete without, I have to write this anyway. To navigate this pyramid you need a level of 30 agility. For this Pyramid you need a hell of a lot of waterskins and food. Once you reach the top you can swipe the golden Pyramid from the top, then surf down the escalator to Simon Simpleton and trade it in for a measly 1000 gp. You get 1014 exp for the completing the entire pyramid, so not all is lost. Except time dignity and sanity. -.-

ImageBarbarian Outpost (+35)Image

The Barbarian outpost, more famous for Barbarian Assault than it's agility course. However once you have completed the Bar Crawl you will be able to access it. You get 153.2 exp from a completed lap, please note that the laps are incredibly quick and you aren't under the harsh desert sun sapping you of your water. Running this course you will get hurt....

ImageApe Atoll (+48)Image

To use this course you must be wearing a ninja monkey greegree, large or small after the completion of Monkey Madness. It's at the center of Ape Atoll, but can only be reached from the Monkey side of the atoll. Although there is no agility bonus at the end you will total 580exp for an entire lap. Once your above 70 agility than this is a sure fire way for the best Agility exp as of yet.

ImageHigh Wilderness (+52)Image

In the level 50 Wilderness, just west of the Tundra is the agility course. This course is most favoured for it's exp. Not many pkers visit this course unless they are bored out of there minds. So I would suggest you only bring boots of lightness and hunter capes. No quest is required for this course and you get a big 571 exp for a completed lap.

ObstacleExp

ImageWerewolf course (+60)Image

Oh yes my favourite agility course, how about a nice game of fetch... To be granted access to this course you must have the Ring of Charos on, you can get this ring after the completion of Creature of Frenkentrain. The werewolf will throw a stick and you will run after it, pick it up then zoom down the zip line at Mach 2. Give the stick to the werewolf for 540 exp. Be warned that if you let go, the zip line can hit as high as 30.

Agility Games

ImageGnomeballImage

The basic idea of this game being that you get a gnome ball from the Referee, run, and then shoot it at the hoop. Distance will not increase or decrease your chance so just try from as far as possible. You will also recieve Ranged exp for a successful score. After scoring five times in one game the ref will give you your own ball. It can be wielded in the weapon slot, and passed to other players who are not holding a weapon.

Image

ImageWerewolf Skullball (+25)Image

For this you will need the Ring of Charos, obtained as a reward from Creature of Frenkenstrain. Speak to the Skullball boss and a skull will roll out of one of the holes in the wall. Kick it under the skeletons feet then move onto the next skeleton, do the course as fast as possible for the best exp.

Image

Tap sends the ball one square forward
Kick sends the ball five squares forward
Shoot sends the ball 10 squares forward.

ImageBrimhavenAgility Arena (+1/25/40)Image

Hail Brimhaven's amazing agility extravaganza. Underneath Brimhaven is a 10x10 grid of large stone structures, connected by agility obstacles. You must pay 200gp to the Captain and his hell-fire annoying parrot to enter. You will probably want 30gp for the boat fair from Ardougne, unless you are coming from Tzhaar. Wear as little as possible and keep your weight low. I would recommend you get 40 Agility first. Or you will have a tough time. The idea of this is to run around tagging the pillars on each of the stone structures, tagging pillars consecutively will earn you tickets, 1 ticket per pillar. The pillar changes approximately every 30 seconds. The tickets can be exchanged agility exp, a novelty hook or some herbs. Don't waste them on herbs as you can get them through Farming.

ImageAreas and ShortcutsImage

Dotted throughout RuneScape are shortcuts to save precious time while skilling. Most of you will take these for granted, but a lot of people remember the time without them, that was also when agility was also incredibly useless... Some shortcuts require a grapple and crossbow, as well as a Strength and Ranged bonus, no one ever uses these. There are also special areas that can be only accessed using Agility.

You can fail everything in the Agility Arena. The low wall is hard but it's possible and you won't take damage when doing it. The planks are failable too. You always need to walk on the plank with no cracks in it.

You haven't mentioned clockwork mice made with construction.
They're the best exp until Ape Atoll course/Wilderness course.
Also, you haven't added the required agility level for each course.

Aaaaaand at the beginning of the Ape Atoll course explanation you've written:
Agent Waffles wrote:

I think you mean "To".

Thank you for that, I'm not adding clockwork mice except with leveling strategies. I will however fix up that typo.
