Farming Route List

In regards to farming, for all those too lazy to do the whole teleport gimmick, which understandably not many people can be bothered to do, this is a detailed route list showing how everything in regards to farming is connected together.

You need absolutely nothing to get started, although a few coins wouldn't go amiss for all those baskets and sacks you'll require, although you may make your own if you have the time. All the farming equipment will be required as per standard obviously, but nothing much else.

The core paths

There are essessionally, two core paths for farmers to take. Keeping in mind you'll be paying the farmers to do all this "looking after" rubbish. Naturally these routes will give you a good idea of what seeds you will need to steal/buy. Also while you're "farming" you can quite easily just spend the time waiting by thieving more seeds or training a more desirable skill.

As there are two core paths to farming, with only the second more full and complex path branching out into two addition paths (making a grand total of three) you will therefore be able to focus and stock-pile items required to the paths you wish to take.

The Allotment path

The allotment path is called so because for most the part you'll be sticking to allotment farming. It is by far the easiest path you can take for some quick, cheap exp. All you need to get you started is two buckets of compost.

Below is the Allotment path in detail:

Keep in mind you MUST make normal compost, stockpile it if need be and make more if you ever run out, you can use super-compost to use but normal compost is required for "payment".

A) Grow Potatos (2 buckets of Compost)
B) Grow Onions (1 sack of Potatoes)
C1) Grow Cabbage (1 sack of onions)
C2) Grow Asgarnian Hops (1 sack of onions)
D1) Grow Tomato (2 sacks of cabbage)
D2) Grow Redberry Bush (4 sacks of cabbage)
D3) Grow Krandorian Hops (3 sacks of cabbage)

E1) Grow Oak Tree (1 basket of Tomato)
E2) Grow Yannillian Hops (1 basket of Tomato)
E3) Grow Cadavaberry Bush (3 baskets of tomato)

End of Allotment path.

As you can see from the above the Allotment path is a short and simple path. Most of the seeds are freely available on the market and rather easy to steal. You can easily stock-pile the required items and get the farmers to the dirty work.

In case you can't work out the obvious path here it goes in order of payment:

Compost ---> Potato --> Onions ---> Cabbage ---> Tomato ---> END

Naturally the deverient paths there don't lead to any more farming, however they do offer an alternative if you should ever wish to take them up (krandorian and Asgarnian Hops for brewing perhaps).

As you can see this is rather simple, one item serves as payment to the other, if you can manage your farming time well enough you'll quite easily end up with a good flow of seeds and goods resulting in decent exp all over. What you do with the final product however is completely up to you, feel free to "cut" the path to suit your needs.

The Major Farming Path

The major path is considerably more hassle, requiring higher amounts of goods as payment but it leads you to grow the more exotic plants and trees, which may be what you're after overall.

Below is the start of the Major Path:

A) Compost
B) Barley (3 buckets of compost required)
C) Jute (6 Barley required)
D) Sweetcorn (10 Jute fibres required)
E) Apple Trees (9 Sweetcorn required)
F1) Willow Tree (1 basket of Apples)

From here on you have two split paths you can choose to use your apples for payment for. The first leads you to Maple Trees while the latter leads you to the higher Magic Trees;

Maple Tree Path

G) Strawberries (1 basket of apples)
H1) Dwellberry Bush (3 baskets of Strawberries)
H2) Orange Tree (3 baskets of strawberries)
I) Maple Trees (1 basket of Oranges)

Magic Tree Path

G) Banana Tree (4 baskets of apples)
H) Curry Tree (5 baskets of bananas)
I) Watermelons (10 curry tree leaves)
J1) Jangleberry Bush (6 watermelons)
J2) Pineapples (10 watermelons)
K) Papayara Tree (10 pineapples)
L) Palm Tree (10 Papayara)
M1) Poison Ivy (15 coconuts)
M2) Magic Tree (25 Coconuts)

And there you have it, the two or rather three core paths for the lazy farmer.

Regarding exp, there is no sure-fire way to know which is fastest on the exp scale. Chances are if you're like me and using this path-list as a payment-chain, then the exp gains will be depending on how regulary you check back on your plants. Those who know exactly when they're ready and hurry back to harvest/plant will naturally gain craploads more exp.

As I said at the start of the guide, the core paths covers most of the things you can farm, however there are TWO exceptions, which may be handy for those who are even more lazy ;)

1) Marigolds can be used as payment to grow Hammerstone Hops
2) Nasturtium can be used as payment to grow Wildblood Hops

Marigolds are plentiful, so you now have no excuse not to horde them for when you can do hammerstone hops =p

That's it for the routes, I'll update in the future, perhaps with "COLOUR" and of course when more farming junk comes out =p

Unfortunately to date there is no way to "pay" for farmers to look after flowers and herbs, if you do herb farm stick around for them, flowers on the other hand can easily be ignored as they rarely seem to die even if you don't bother watering them.

(p.s. feel free to leave feedback so I can improve this) =o
