Upgrading my RAM

So I was looking into upgrading my RAM from 4GB to 8GB and I remembered last time I upgraded on my old computer I used Crucial scanner. Crucial scanner claims my current computer doesn't exist though.

Would anyone be so kind as to help me figure out what kind of RAM I need? Basically i need an alternative to using crucial scanner.

I think this might go in troubleshooting by the way.

OK, I was able to find the info on hp.com :oops:

Speed supported PC2-6400 MB/sec
Type 240 pin, DDR2 SDRAM

Computer


Now I just have to shop for RAM that properly matches those specs.
