How do I make a .gif? Im using a PC on xp. (the last person told me to use a program for macs =/)

If you use MS Paint, and then save as, and then use the drop-down box "Save as type", you should be able to chose GIF.

I believe he means animated gifs :wink:
I think you can with Photoshop, but I really cant remember, Simply because I dont make .gifs pictures..

It depends what kind of .gif file you want. GIMP can do some animating, and so can Photoshop. But I'm not sure exactly what you want to do, so I don't know if these would work out best for you. Also, you could try Pivot, which is a stick figure animator.

Oh, animated gifs- sorry, I didn't realise. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is Macromedia Flash. If you have this program, you can export the .fla to a GIF file easily.

It is very easy to do in the GIMP each frame will be it's own layer and then when you save it you use the .gif file extension and it will ask you about the time delay between frames in milliseconds. (1 sec = 1000 ms) It also has a preview feature in the filters->web(or animation) menu.
