no sound with firefox.

I downloaded Mozilla firefox, but when i play rs i get no sound.. can anyone help?

I have the same volume as well, as if anyone would like to listen to the music but the sounds are handy in wildy if that's what you need it for. I don't know how to sort it out, I just use Rs Client now, reduces lag as well...

The reason is that the applet Runescape runs on is not coded to properly meet standards. Sorry.

well if you really want sound, then stop using firefox. its not that hard. maybe you could give it a try :)

i don't know if this would work... but try to upgrade your SUN JAVA version... cause i just got the news yesterday that a new version came out... or i'm just slow...

I have that same problem too. But the only difference is that I get sound effects but no music. Which is no loss to me. :lol:

Yes, sound doesn't work with Mozilla. But something I've noticed on my computer is very strange. SUN Java is my computer's default java, and the java that is used on Mozilla. The sound on Runescape works on IE, but not Mozilla, even though they are both with SUN Java.

Runescape sound is bad, very bad... put on some rave music like infected mushrooms, the prodigy, void, skazi or 1200 micrograms :)
