Finally got it up

here is wat features it has right now at the current version:

- ip-ip connection, u type in the server's IP address from the server computer and you connect
- buddy list that gives information on those in ur list...though i haven't set it up to connect yet
- goes through a virtual port, so school districts cant block it Smile
- other things

ok, its not perfect. and if u use a router and have a subnet mask because you use the defaults (192.168.x.x), then it might not work. If you want the source code, PM me and i will consider sending it

In the buddylist.txt, it says that Brandt's IP is 192.168.0.102 . That IP is incorrect. It is an internal IP and it won't work.

yeah i know, that was for my only inside my home network. If u want my real ip it is: 70.162.39.185

I'm gonna try that some day. But not with Java. Maybe inside a couple of HTML files which uses something like NetSend.
