Phew, downloaded Opera, just to see what it was like, and although I really hate to admit it, MOTV was right, it really is a good browser, just gotta get used to it now...

So, unfortunatly, Opera beat IE  ...

Number of people I have now converted to Opera: erm... i lose count. But its quite a lot.

I told one of my friends about it, and after some persuading converted him, then together we sparked a chain reaction of Opera conversion in my school. Random people i would never have expected to use Opera are saying 'Yeah, Firefox sucks. Opera is so much better.'

Of course, there's always the arrogant little moron who I fail to convert, despite them being increasingly more aggrovated with Firefox's slow startup time, consistent crashing, lack of features and general rubbishness. I watched someone sigh in annoyance as Firefox crashed on them and took a minute to startup again today; while all the time i was using Opera off my flash drive to quickly and efficiently browse the web.

(Hell, to change a skin on FF you have to restart! With Opera, you select a skin and it instantly changes. Opera rules.)

Nice to know you made the good choice, Shaun.

I enjoy firefox myself. Opera seems to fancy for me.

Yes. I don't need a browser that has a BitTorrent client built in. Nor do I need all those extra features. I just want a basic browser that works.

Actually, Opera's support for Bittorrent is pretty pitiful. I use the official bittorrent client.

And it sucks for email, too. But i use Outlook.

As a web browser, though, its pwnage. I use Opera's built-in IRC quite a bit as well.
