Need help with remote connect

So, i cant connect, and i know its my router..how can i unblock it? Or does anyone know the port # ?

Do you mean remote desktop on Windows XP? According to my router, it's port 3389.

If you meant VNC, it's VNC 5500, 5800, and 5900.

also an easy way to do it is to have a dns service points a domain to your computer. I forget what I use actually it's been a while, I'm sure someone could tell you the best out there to help you.
