Is there anyother way to make websites besides php. or html. ?

And is there any program that can help me make such as Microsoft Fontpage?(Like like YAHOO!Geocity, which gives you the format)

Is phpBB good for making a web?(Shane or Mike might answer this for me)Does it have anything that help you make?

I'd like a answer for each question..And I'd be thankful for each one of you who answers
I'm trying to make up a site, but I really need you guy's help.

There are many ways to make websites. HTML, PHP are two good ones. There's also ASP by microsoft and ColdFusion from Macromedia. These last two are different and require windows servers to run. I don't like Windows as you may know or may not. The site here is made in php for the most part and runs on Linux.

As for programs there is no program that can help you create PHP. I recomend having some programming knowledge before using PHP. C++ is a good background. I use dreamweaver for php coding that i use. You can use dreamweaver for the other languages too as well as HTML.

PhpBB is the best free web forum system in my opinion. They are used for forums not websites but if you don't want to spend much $$$ they are good if you want good forums.
