Post subject:  Uncle Dano's Goal: Consecutive 99's

My goal for skill mastery involves achieving not one but up to twelve (12) consecutive 99's in a row, one right after the other. Ever since I was born into the world of Gielinor, I have embraced the idea of Integrated Skill Training (IST). This is a method of training that does not rely upon "buying the skill" but rather a DIY approach to working skills together, as well as taking advantage of minigame and D&D rewards. This is the "native" method of raising skills, as designed by Jagex. Of course this takes significantly longer than just grinding away at one skill at a time, but has many benefits, including the intangible reward of immense gratification from achieving something through sheer hard work and strategy. At this point in time, I do not wish to accept any donations to this goal as I wish to achieve this by my own IST methods. I will try to outline in detail how I utilize various aspects of the game to work on multiple skills simultaneously. Stay tuned for further details. Until then, here are some of the basics:

Skillcape
Progress
Strategy
MiningImage

Mine out a shooting star (or several during a wave), taking advantage of the chance to mine double ores. Wear Varrock Achievement Diary Armour and mine in LRC. Both Varrock Armour and LRC also give a chance to mine an extra ore. That's three circumstances that result in the chance to mine extra ore, utilized at once. Couple this with a sacred clay pickaxe (for double xp) and an obsidian golem (for hidden mining boost) and xp rates become extremely high. In addition, with pickaxe and nature runes in inventory, wield Fire Staff and Gold Gauntlets, click on gold deposit and superheat gold ore into bars as they appear; does not interrupt mining and gives additional magic and smithing xp as you mine (tip courtesy of "Cool Person"). Go to mines which allow you to mine Rune, Addy and Mith when the shooting star bonus wears off. I like the Mining Guild Resource Dungeons.
SmithingImage

Smelting my own bars from ores mined, using coal from the Kingdom of Miscellania. Smithing addy platebodies (good xp) and mithril grapples (good gp) using sacred clay hammers from Stealing Creation.
ConstructionImage

Oak Dungeon Doors using sacred clay hammers from Stealing Creation and assisting with effigies whenever possible. Also, I cut my own oak logs after doing an Evil Tree taking advantage of the automatic banking of logs, then run logs to the sawmill myself or use the make plank Lunar spell.
CraftingImage

Crafting Air Battlestaves from scratch.
WoodcuttingImage

Using either a Sacred Clay Hatchet, Dragon Hatchet or Inferno Adze, chop an Evil Tree (participate in "eviltreechat" cc to find best spawn). Utilize the reward of automatic banking of logs by chopping oaks north of Draynor. This will accumulate oak logs for making into oak planks to train Construction. Cut Magic Trees to accumulate Magic Logs to train Fletching. I go to the Magic Tree in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. Right next to this tree I also have a Magic Tree planted in my farming patch. When both trees are chopped and you are waiting for them to respawn there are several Yews around to chop. Also, there is a bank very close to this WC spot for easy deposits. I also have a Magic Tree planted in the Varrock farming patch next to the ivy. Also a good spot to train - chop ivy while waiting for the Magic Tree to respawn.
FiremakingImage

Burning maple logs from Kingdom of Miscellania.
FletchingImage

Fletching Magic Longbows from woodcutting and Maple Longbows (u) from maple logs obtained from Kingdom of Miscellania.
CookingImage

Cooking monkfish I catch, as well as making Tuna Potatoes.
MagicImage

Enchanting Air Orbs for Air Battlestaves. High Level Alchemy of finished Air Battlestaves.
FishingImage

Fishing for Monkfish with urns, granite lobster, admiral pie.
FarmingImage

Farming trees/bushes/allotments using seeds from Kingdom and from thieving Master Farmer.
HerbloreImage

Growing herbs from farming and collecting herbs from Kingdom of Miscellania. Gathering own tertiary ingredients. Do herblore on BXPW.

Of course this is an epic feat and I plan on making a huge event out of this. All of RSBandB will be invited, along with the entire RS Community. I hope to have at least one JMod show up too :D ! More to come. Wish me luck.

EDIT: Added Heblore goal.

I was a little late to think about it,because I had already gotten around level 95 Mining, but you still have time.
Go to LRC, and bring a Fire/Lava/Steam Staff, plenty of natures,
and wield Gold gauntlets, Have a D Pick in Inv, and go click the Gold Deposit.
Navigate to the Magic spellbook, and superheat ore as you get them.
This does not Interupt the mining process and will help you with Smithing, Magic, and Mining.
I still do this sometimes as I believe it's quite fun, and enjoy the Smithing and Magic xp, with a Bonus of 13m+ Mining.

GL MAN.. that is quite a goal and with so many levels close to 99 it would be sooo tempting to get 99 before the rest of the skills..

ill definitly be there at the party if im not working :)

if your dungeon is high enough, in the dwarf tunnel outside of the mining guild, there is a dungeon door where there is a quick deposit. you can mine the iron outside and maybe super heat then bank the iron in there. also having a coal bag does help
