For the longest time, I completely ignored barrows after having one bad expereince it with it (I didn't die, but I had no idea what I was doing and ended up using like 15 prayer pots during a single trip only to get some minds and deaths o_o)
A few months ago, I went back and decided to do trips until I got something... ended up getting an ahrim's top after about 8 trips, which I later sold for a nice chunk of cash. I didn't do barrows again after that.
Just yesterday I asked my friend to pick a minigame for us to do. He picked Barrows. I did two trips, got some bad stuff, and he had to go.
But today I felt the urge to go again, so I geared up and headed out for a single trip for the day.
It was definetly worth it.
When I do barrows, I try to see how little prayer pot I can use per trip. Even before I got the items, this trip was definetly worth it, because out of the maybe 12 trips I've ever gone, I had just beaten my record of 4 sips a trip and only drank 3 sips of prayer potion.
Anyway, enough blabbing on; just wanted to make this thread more than a single shot, even though that's mainly what it's all about...
*is very pleased with the trip* Though, if anyone here could give me some better estimates on what the current prices of those are, that'd be great too
