Blood bursts for me! =o
Anyway, Ugh.. didn't have the time that day. Sorry about that.
Something came up as I was about to start and... yeah...
I'm doing it this weekend. I've been practicing a bit and I'm getting pretty good at it. xD
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What happened?
Wave 1-15. I was freaked out until I got to the first level 180. At that point, I started to feel really good about what the end result would be.
Wave 36 - 44 (I think): This was where the fight caves got hard. You get level 360s and 90s at the same time. I got scared once again until I figured out how I was supposed to go through with it.
Strategy: Turn protection from mage on and kill everything first, UNLESS you have a clear shot at the 360 without anything hitting you.
Wave 45 - 53: This was where it got REALLY easy. Pretty much, you get a level 360 and 180 at the same time. The 180s are really dumb unless you're dumb enough to let them hit you.
Wave 54 - 58: This was the hardest part (besides Jad). Level 360, 180 and 90 at the same time. Almost the same strategy as Wave 36 - 44 except you must get rid of the 90s as quick as possible, aswell as the 360s.
Wave 59: My death. The death has been bugging me for a long time - it was the worst kind. Jagex should really change this, it's really annoying.
Try to imagine this:
Everything was trapped on the south side of Italy Rock. I was in the middle. The 360 was trapped on the wall and couldn't hit me because it's path was being blocked by 2 level 45s, a level 180 and a level 90.
I was ice bursting the level 90 because if I were to range it, I would be in the 180s range and the 360s range. As the 90 died, I clicked ice burst one last time... I started running at the dying level 90 for no apparent reason. No, I did NOT click Walk Here. I clicked Attack. My protection from range was on at this point and the 360 saw me. It shot, hit 34 (I was waiting to kill the 90 and 360 to heal on the 180) and I died.
What did I think?
For my first time, I thought I did REALLY well. Most people usually make it to Jad on their first, but they also have defence. That 34 could've easily been prevented with the extra dragonhide. I'm happy and quit upset at the same time, but the next time I try the Fight Caves, I know that I can do it.
For people that think Fight Caves are impossible for anyone, they're NOT. It's actually very simple if you know what you're doing. Of course, I didn't get to Jad so I cannot say what that part is like at all, also, seeing as I've heard it's the hardest part, but getting to Jad is a lot of fun. It depends SLIGHTLY on luck, but more on skill. I think anyone with 70+ range (80+ is a bit more recommended) and about, 52 pray+ could do it. Maybe not on their first try, but on the second or third.
ANYWAY, I think I will be trying to get my cape again on Monday. If not, I don't know, but I will be sure to post new pics of my fire cape when I do get it.
