99 Woodcutting.

My goal is 99 woodcutting... Original I know... Lulz, But yeah i'm currently at 64, cutting yews in Varrok behind the palace, if anyone would like to join me on this expedition, i welcome them with open arms to add me on RS.

im going to give you advice that i think i could of used when i was going for 99 woodcuting.

if your going to cut yews cut them from 80+ wc because you get them at a much faster rate,

also get 60 - 80+ via willows or ivy because thats just the fastest way and going any other route is just too long.

and now you have to ask yourself the question do i want to spend a bunch of time chopping yews to get 99 wc but make a 20+ M, or get 99 woodcutting then just chop magics for great cash?

i wish you luck on your journey and the cape is worth the wait :wink:

I will assume that he is FTP, so cutting yews would nearly be the best money in the game for him. I think he's FTP becuase he said he is cutting yews behind varrock castle which is the best spot for FTP.

Also cutting vines to 99 isn't smart because you make zero cash. Saying that cutting vines to 99 is smart because after that you can cut mages for great cash isn't really a justification. When you cut magic trees at 99 you roughly only cut about 200 logs an hour. That's terrible money if you aren't even gaining levels.

My idea would be to cut willows until 75 and then cut yew trees until 95. Then at 95 buy members, start woodcutting magic trees. This is a way to train woodcutting becuase you actually make money. I am not a fan of the ivy because it really defeats the point of woodcutting. In my opinion the whole point of woodcutting is to get logs, I mean cutting ivy is the equivalent of mining and getting experience but no ores? No point right?

Thanks Italy and i see what you mean, as a number of people have told me this. But i am using a sacred clay hatchet as to gain xp and cash at the same time. I'm mostly getting 99 wc for the $$ as i would like to start merching but i need a few millz to get me started. Thanks for the advice.

@Power crazy Nahh, P2P I like varrock castle the best becasue its close to ge which i am constantly running to to check my merches, and other things. im going to cut yews to 68 then vines to 75 than yews to 90 than magics for the good money.

I'm not positive but I hear that yews are better cash/hour than magics until around 95 woodcutting.

I believe i understand where your coming from but i did ivy from the sheer satisfaction of a 99 although i didn't think it defeated the purpose.

@Pi - i think your method is really good and wish you luck on merching
