Hey i was wondering... i dont use photoshop (i use psp7pro) and how do you guys cut out characters so well? Like the runescape characters are cut out right down to there outline.. how is it done?

usually on photo editing programs there is a tool called like magic wand or sometihing. When u click on the area outside the character the "magic wand" will select most of the area around it, which u can cut or delete, making the edges around the character nice and smooth.

Magic Wand, it basically follows the border of the image part where you click.

I use Photoshop... just zoom in about 800% and select the outline lol.

I dont think there is a problem cause I"m calling them "newbs" as in newb's real meaning not an insult like ppl in rs

same, thats how i took a dunce hat out of a pic and put it on bush :) that was my greatest image ever :D

I copy and paste into Paint, then zoom in at 800%. Then I select the paint bucket tool, and clear the background using the color white.

Copy and paste, set transperency, and poof, your done.
